Advanced Topics in Astrophysics - Llafranc (Costa Brava) 4-6 May 2011

**Latest news: scientific programme and participants list**
We are organizing an informal workshop to pay a tribute to Jordi Isern's scientific career, on the occasion of his 60th anniversary. The conference will take place in a charming hotel in Llafranc, a very nice and touristic village in the Spanish Costa Brava. The hotel is just in front of the beach, so we will have spare time to take a walk around, discuss about scientific issues, and more importantly, to enjoy with Jordi!
The scientific sessions of the workshop will take place from Wednesday May 4th early morning to Friday May 6th lunch time. The format of the workshop will be very relaxed. We do plan to stimulate scientific exchange between adjacent areas of astrophysics. Consequently, we have scheduled about fifteen invited review talks covering the fields of Jordi's work. Also, short talks could be accommodated, but remember that the plan is not to bore the audience but to enjoy all together. We will not publish proceedings but we plan to publish the presentations on line at the web page of the workshop.
Please check in the scientific part section for the list of topics (invited reviews) and fill in the registration form as soon as possible. NEW DEADLINE: 4th April 2011.
