First Consolidation Meeting of the Spanish Meteor Network
The first meeting of the SPMN members has taken place after the 10th anniversary of the creation of this Network. It has been held in the province of Barcelona, where two SPMN centers, Instituto de Ciencias del Espacio (CSIC-IEEC) and Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya, are located.

Sant Cugat Forum of Astrophysics
The Sant Cugat Forum on Astrophysics is a framework where to host international meetings on high-energy and particle astrophysics: a place to discuss about the most violent phenomena in the Universe. The Forum is established under the auspices of the Sant Cugat City Hall, the Institute for Space Sciences (CSIC), the Institut d?Estudis Espacials de Catalunya (IEEC), and the Institució Catalana de Recerca i Estudis Avançats (ICREA).

Misteries of the Cosmos
When was the first time that the human looked up at the sky and started to ask himself about what he was looking at? We really do not know, but since then most of these questions have been solved although, many more are waiting to be answered. Some of these questions will be the main topic of the conference cicle, which is organized by the Institute of Space Sciences in colaboratio with the Cosmocaixa.

European Week of Astroparticles
From 10 to 17 October 2009, with open days, talks for the general public, exhibitions organized all over Europe, astroparticle physicists will then meet the general public and explain the challenges they face to answer the hot questions about the Universe, such as What is the Universe made of??, ?What is the origin of cosmic rays?? or ?What is the nature of gravity or dark matter???
