INTERNATIONAL PLANETARY PROBE WORKSHOP 2010
June 14-18th, 2010- Barcelona
Explore technological challenges and scientific opportunities associated with entry, descent, landing and flight in planetary atmospheres with fellow scientists, technologists, engineers, mission designers, policy-makers and students interested in the exploration of solar system bodies with substantial atmospheres.
Building on previous successes, the workshop will promote international cooperation in probe missions to solar system moons and planets with atmospheres and provide students?the next generation of planetary scientists?and spacecraft engineers, an opportunity to participate.

MODERN COSMOLOGY - BENASQUE 2010

Conference aimed at studying topics of Modern Cosmology. This conference will be held from August 1 - August 20, 2010.

With the most recent measurements of the cosmic microwave background anisotropies (CMB) and
large scale structures (LSS) of the universe as well as various other astronomical
observations, it is now possible to have a clear and consistent picture of the history and
content of the universe since nucleosynthesis. A feaverish activity is taking place for
measuring the cosmological parameters with great precision, and for understanding better
the origin of primordial perturbations, the nature of dark energy and dark matter, the
mechanisms responsible for the formation of non-linear stuctures, and the implications of
cosmological observations for particle physics. After the success of the 1st and 2nd
Benasque workshops on Modern Cosmology held in 2006 and 2008, we wish again to bring
together leading international experts on both theoretical and observational aspects of
cosmology, into a particularly beautiful and inspiring atmosphere, below the pic of Aneto,
the highest point in the Pyrenees.

GNSS-R 2010: Workshop on GNSS Reflectometry

GNSS-R'10 is the new edition of the series of GNSS-R workshops organized since 1999 and hosted at different Institutions, which aim to provide a forum for researchers working on different aspects and applications of the GNSS Reflectometry.
