Descripció:
The candidate will work on the development the dust polarization tools for transfer modeling as part of the ASTRONET project 'Adaptable Radiative Transfer Innovations for Submillimeter Telescopes' (ARTIST). The ARTIST is collaboration between the University of Bonn and Leiden University (Netherlands) and our Institut de Ciències de l'Espai (CSIC-iEEC). The project aims to develop the next generation model suite for comprehensive multi-dimensional radiative transfer calculation of the dust and line emission as well as their polarization. Prior experience in computational astrophysics and/or radiative transfer is highly desirable.
The postdoctoral position is for three years, and will include a number of working visits to the partner institutes.
